Whats is Quora ??

Quora is a website where questions are created, answered, edited and organized by its  community of users.

Quora is a knowledge exchange site that was established in June 2009 and was launched in private beta in December 2009. The site opened to the public on June 21, 2010. .Quora aggregates questions and answers to topics. Users can  collaborate by editing questions and suggesting edits to other users'  answers.

Quora was founded by Adam D'Angelo (former chief technical officer at Facebook) and Charlie Cheever. D'Angelo out of Facebook in January 2010 to make Quora and said he was inspired to make Quora because he thought that "many websites questions-and-answers on the Internet, but no one is quite nice". Quora user base grew rapidly in December 2010. In March 2010, Quora receiving capital from Benchmark Capital as well as providing start-up value is worth 86 million dollars.

Answer:

Jazz evolved from the blues, and both were developed and perfected by Black Americans, many former slaves or the children of former slaves, and it seems to have its origins in New Orleans and the Missisipi Delta.
Jazz can be improvisational or transcribed and played. It tells a story, both sorrow and joy. It is an orginal Americam art form, some say, but given it's origins, Africam music must play some remote influences. The biggest kick I got from the documentary was that Jazz and it's primitive rhythms were considered dangerous amd sinful by a psychiatrist and other " experts of the day."
